I'll be at Gerry's Grill, SM North EDSA Sky Garden between 7:00PM and 8:00PM for our Release Party/Meetup. I'll bring myself some Fedora Cheat Cubes that I'll stack on the table so you'll know me. I'll just be in shirt and shorts. I stand about 1.9m and I have the weight to prove it.

Fedora 13 is scheduled to be released on May 18 and contributors all over the world are getting together for Release Parties to celebrate this year's first of two releases. If we have takers, we can probably squat somewhere on SM North EDSA's Sky Garden on May 22 (Saturday), take a bite, match faces with the nicks and filch some bandwidth from SM
If it's any help, I'll be bringing F13 DVDs for everyone who reply. Tentatively KKB, pay only for what you consume |

 The Call for Papers is now open for Geek Camp 3.0, Bluepoint's 2nd local APNG camp which will be held from March 5 to 7, 2010 at the Loreland Farm Resort in Antipolo City.
Combining the collaborative approach of Geek Camp 1.0 (2008) and the technical orientation of Geek Camp 2.0 (2009), Bluepoint's 3rd Geek Camp will be a venue for participants to present their papers and discuss related topics within the following working groups.

Submissions must include the following: presentation title, presentation abstract, speaker name, speaker biography, presentation format and duration, and audience expertise level. |

VENUE
Antipolo City is approximately 26 kilometers east of Manila. Strategically located along Colaique, the 8-hectare Loreland Farm Resort puts the city's major attractions within easy reach. The Antipolo Cathedral is only 3 kilometers away from the resort, while the Hinulugang Taktak falls is a mere 7 minute drive.
REGISTRATION
Registration fee is only PHP 5000 (USD 108 or EUR 78) per attendee, inclusive of food (3 meals & 2 snacks daily), accommodations (1 bed per person, air conditioned room with cable TV, hot shower & bath tub), and access to the resort's 8 theme swimming pools from March 5 to 7. Registration fee for speakers is PHP 3000 (USD 65 or EUR 47) only. Registrations are accepted until February 26, 2010. |

I have been looking at our Members List earlier and I noticed that we are now 34 strong (engels and born2linux are the same)!
I don't speak for anybody else but I think it's high time we shake things around here a little bit. I think we can start by doing a boring meeting or something (IRC or in person). Takers can email me at herson at azneita dot org anytime or simply add a comment below. We have activities lined up for the year and we need warm bodies to share our excitement with
